Angkor, protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the most important archaeological sites in Siem Reap, South-East Asia. Stretching over some 400 km2, including forested areas, Angkor Archaeological Park comprises the magnificent remains of the different capitals from the Khmer Empire which dates from 9th to the 15th century.
